Travel Grants
The Organizing Committee of WFNOS 2022 has decided on the final format of the conference to be hybrid which would allow both face-to-face and online meetings at the same time.
If you are from a foreign country outside of Korea and plan to attend WFNOS 2022, you can do so either in person or online. The WFNOS 2022 Travel Grant policy has been revised accordingly as below:
If you are attending WFNOS 2022 in person: you may be considered for the Travel Grants
Abstract presenting authors attending the WFNOS 2022 in person and meeting the below requirements may be considered for the Travel Grants. To be eligible for the Travel Grant, applicants must:
- Be listed as the presenting author of an abstract submitted for WFNOS 2022
- Be under 40 years old and based in a low income or lower middle income country according to the World Bank report.
- Participate in the WFNOS 2022 meeting in person.

*The maximum amount awarded per person will be USD 1,000. The Travel Grant does not include the registration fee.
If you are attending WFNOS 2022 online: we will offer complimentary registration to the presenting author of an accepted abstract in lieu of the Travel Grant.

Best Abstract Award
All presenting authors of an accepted oral presentation will be eligible for nomination for this award. The winners of this award will receive USD 500 and the chance to present their abstracts at the Top 10 session.
To compete for this award, applicants must:
- Be the presenting author of an accepted oral presentation abstract for WFNOS 2022
- Complete their pre-registration and be present at the WFNOS 2022.
The winners will be contacted via email.
Best Poster Award
All poster authors will be eligible for nomination for this award. Each day of the meeting, authors of 10 posters will be selected as Best Poster Award winners. Posters will be judged on the relevance, novelty and quality of their content and presentation. The winners of this award will receive a certificate and a prize.
To compete for this award, applicants must:
- Be the presenting author of an accepted poster abstract for WFNOS 2022
- Complete their pre-registration and be present at the WFNOS 2022.
The winners will be announced publicly every day during the meeting period.
